SSD Consulting empowers first responders and communities through comprehensive behavioral health training and support services. Our platform offers specialized courses, insights, and resources designed to build resilience and provide critical support in behavioral health crisis situations. As co-owner, I led the design and development of this Next.js application focused on creating accessible, interactive training experiences. The new enhanced website is currently under development, showcasing the latest improvements in user experience and training delivery.

The Problem
First responders and communities lack accessible, comprehensive behavioral health training and suicide prevention resources. Traditional training methods are often fragmented, difficult to navigate, and don't provide the interactive, engaging experience needed for effective learning in critical behavioral health situations.
The Solution
We developed a comprehensive Next.js application with interactive video-based learning modules, progress tracking, and expert insights from behavioral health professionals. The platform features secure user authentication, mobile-first responsive design with Tailwind CSS, and accessibility compliance through Radix UI components. We implemented course completion monitoring, resource filtering, and streamlined access to critical behavioral health information.
